European Songlist…The Key is sing a long tunes..

That is the secret over here. Give them tunes that they know and can sing a long to. That is what they want. It’s not about them watching you and getting into what you are doing artistically. They want to drink, sing, dance on tables and have a good time. This involves a healthy dose of Sweet Home Alabama, Robbie Williams, Country Roads, Pink Floyd, 4 non Blonds, Summer of 69, American Pie, Mixed with some G-n-R, Bon Jovi, U2, Elvis, Van Morrison, Beatles, Chuck Berry….It ALL has to be stuff they know and can sing to. And the stuff that is popular is a bit different then back home. I’m learning the game and should have all my tunes learned by the time I get off the Cruise ship.
Other than that piece of info, all is well over in Switzerland. I’m basically chilling in my lair all day resting up for my marathon 5 hour gigs. I’ll tell ya, by the 5th set i’m fucking TOAST!! I do not know many musicians who can do 5 sets a night everynight for weeks on end with NO DAYS OFF! Hell, i’m probably one of them. I’m not sounding like my normal passionate self to the full degree because I really have to sing lightly and save it..Got 9 more nights to go!!! DAMN.

trying singing 5 hours a night with no night off in the smokiest bar you’ve ever been in with 30 cigs going and several Cigars.
You know I’m joking. I don’t know how you do it actually. You’re much braver than most to push through! Thank God it’s only two weeks there and not a month. You might try to overdose on coffee. Yeah, I know I keep coming back to the coffee, but it’s only because it looks so fricking good.
